Laugavegur is a long-distance hiking trail in the south of Iceland probably the most famous trekking tour. It runs from the thermal springs of Landmannalaugar to the nature reserve Porsmörk (Thorsmörk). It offers roaring waterfalls, whipping geysers, seething volcanoes and glaciers. The possible starting and ending points Landmannalaugar, Porsmörk and Skogar are easily accessible by bus from Reykjavik in summer.
